“Photographers do not lie. They discriminate against a world that offers too much at once by fixing on that which intrigues or amuses them—mysteries they cannot solve in a glance.”~Hilton Als
Is life all about rain and sunshine?
Is life all made up of the tangible and its intangible nemesis?
Is life all about living one’s own truth, while, simultaneously, doing one’s best to abide the rules set by others?
Is life all about counting the decades while boasting one’s self-worth and public recognition in the process?
I am told to trust life, holding onto my faith while laboring away to reach my dream destinations;
I am told to trust life, because destiny is meant to be individually singular; harboring resentment towards others for the reason of feeling jealous of their successes can only result in self-destruction and self-hurt;
I am told to trust life, due to the limited number of the cycles, in which we reside. As one cycle ends and another one starts, we inevitably experience the passing of time; a commodity that is truly once-in-a lifetime that can never be renewed, restocked, or replenished.
Life, I am doing my hardest to place my trust in you. May I ask you something? Have you placed your trust in me?
