We hear often that life is a journey, and hence why every moment of it should be lived to the fullest. Agree. However, what we do not hear frequently enough is the saying, life is a beautiful struggle.
Life is a beautiful struggle. Indeed! We should therefore have more compassion for ourselves, as a result. Do we have enough compassion for ourselves? I doubt it, at least not until we hit the rock bottom of life do we then realize the importance of self-love and self-appreciation.
As beautiful as the sceneries that we get to witness alongside our journey, they all flee in an instant as if they had never been there to begin with. Due to its short-lived nature, we do our best to hold on to it. We photograph it; We videotape it; We facebook it; and we instagram it all in hopes of not only eternalizing what makes our hearts pump with jubilation in the first place, but also using it to lessen and counterattack the pain, and the frustration that we all inevitably encounter, walking down life’s sunset boulevard.
Life is beautiful yet difficult to juggle. The multifaceted reality of living makes those, who are good at multitasking seem like gods and goddesses that the rest of us try so hard to emulate. In fact, we are all good at juggling and struggling; otherwise, none of us would be alive in a world, where there are so many things happening in every second, every day, simultaneously.
Life is a beautiful struggle. I love it.
