With a surge of curiosity, we capture the force of nature; with a click of the finger, we eternalize a stranger’s moment in time; with a blink of the eye, we expand the pulse of a city; and, with a push of the lenses, we immortalize the fountain of youth.
Photography is magical and storytelling; a recreational hobby that most human beings have enjoyed cultivating for endless cycles. To some, photography is a way for humans to celebrate in print that moment of awe-inspiring wonder that creates a profound resonance in our deepest existence; to others, human’s interest in photography is just simply indicative of our nostalgia of what has come to past, which consequently hinders our movement towards fully and freely embracing an unknown future.
I once read a quote in a magazine, “we travel for romance, we travel for knowledge, and, we travel for adventure.” For whatever reason that most humans are drawn to photography, one thing that is for sure, photography is undeniably an excellent tool to document our hottest romance, our most exhilarating discoveries, and our most memorable adventures.
