Take Pause

We are taught to keep pushing, especially in times of great challenges, in this modern world. Our desire to not want to feel left behind somehow normalizes this idea that running, doing and moving incessantly are the ways of living in a competitive environment.

As much as we want to keep up with the pace of the world, we all have moments, where we are forced to slow down and take pause. In those moments of physical inactivity, where we get to take pause and observe, we tend to realize just how beautiful our surrounding is. We get to see a different pace of living that is relaxing yet productive and meaningful. And, we get a glimpse into how life is lived by others.
