I bought a pair of H&M sunglasses over this past weekend. Plus taxes, the total came to fourteen dollars.
The sun is shining brightly in Toronto. The summer season is definitely here. What strikes me about wearing this pair of sunglasses, versus other pairs that I own, is how carefree and comfortable I feel. Not only do I no longer need to squint my eyes on a sunny day, but more important, I am rid of the constant fear of breaking or dropping its lenses by accident.
Without having to weigh my heart down by excessive worries allows me the freedom to truly enjoy the experience of wearing sunglasses. Now that I think back to the time when I wore my D&G sunglasses out, I was so careful protecting its lenses, and frames that I felt so exhausted at the end. I got to a point, where I dragged about wearing such an expensive pair of sunglasses that I willingly exposed my naked eyes to the blinding sun. Now, I slip my H&M fourteen dollar purchase on and off oh so easily, much more convenient than wearing a pair of gloves.
Cheap and practical merchandises are not that bad after all.
