Love is beautiful. We can all agree on that. However, there is a time and a place for everything, including how and when it is appropriate to show love.
Public display of affection is not unwelcome. If it is happening in a narrow space; more specifically, on a crowded street, where people are headed in different directions, then it is.
I find that so many city-dwellers are lacking the awareness to show basic courtesy to complete strangers. For example, some of them still hold on tight to their partner’s hand in a space scarce environment, knowing full well that others don’t have enough space to use. And, some of them don’t give a damn, making a sudden full stop on a busy narrow street upon running into someone they know, leaving a trail of people behind him or her furious.
Please be considerate city people. It is not neck or back breaking to look around you and make some courteous moves.
