Last night at a public event, a lady was asked a generic question, “Who inspires you?” To which the lady gave an unconventional answer, “The sun.”
Sun is always up in the sky when it is supposed to be there, whether or not we can spot it with our own eyes. In a world, where things can change in a second’s notice, the consistency that the sun demonstrates on a yearly basis is admirable. The sun is selfless. As agreed by the famed poet, Hafiz, who once famously said that the sun never said to the Earth: “You owe me.”
As I am marching into the sun on this wintery day, I feel its warmth, it’s brightness, as well as its beautiful immensity, reaching out to every corner in the city.
