Who says watching TV is a waste of time? Who says reality TV is a trashy genre? Although some shows do put the worst sides of human behaviors on shameless display; however, there are also some that aim to magnify the inspirational and courageous aspects of humanity.
I am watching the first episode of Masterchef Canada Season 2. I am motivated and moved by the enthusiasm and perseverance of many of the Top 50 Masterchef Canada hopefuls. They all come from different walks of life. They all have a story to tell. Although life experiences and physical attributes set them apart; however, they all share a common goal and are determined to achieve it.
In my opinion, determination and perseverance to reach the end point of an adventure are what makes a winner. Although the recognizable title is good, although a big lump sum of money prize is alluring; however, it is the life lessons that are learned along the way; as well as the profound sense of self-satisfaction and self-gratification that will be proven to be the most valuable takeaway prices in years to come.
