Young kids make mistakes, because they don’t know better. Adults make mistakes at times, because some of us simply don’t care. If I were to ask which one is worse, I would say the adults. The reason being is that when we know better, we have to do better.
It is winter season in Toronto, Canada. The flu season is in full swing. One of the most common public places to catch flu is at the gym. Hence why basic gym etiquettes, such as covering one’s mouth when coughing or spray cleaning used equipments, are extremely necessary. Lately, I’ve noticed more and more mature adults simply don’t give a damn when it comes public gym etiquettes. They cough with their mouths wide open, uncovered. They clean their used machines by carelessly spraying the provided disinfecting liquid in the air, the drizzly drops of which just land on the neighboring machines.
More and more adults are behaving like inconsiderate children. These are moms, dads, uncles, aunts, and grandparents. When they know better but don’t do better, how can they expect their kids, nephews and grandkids to be responsible and well-mannered adults in the future.
