I’m not a parent, hence why I have yet to profoundly experience the wrenching pain that felt by many, in times of celebration, for not being able to be with their kids. But I am a kid, one that lives far away from home. I have already experienced two types of profundities, engendered by my family’s caring, in times of celebration. Encouraging words of comfort are needed. Tearing words of distance can be done with. Although I understand the natural flow of human emotions; however, for those of us, who are far away from home, what we truly want, at the start of a new beginning, is a genuine smile.
