We are just a few days away before the start of a brand new year. With the arrival of a brand new start comes with the inevitable, repetitive, age-old worry, how to lose the holiday weight.
Today is December 25th, 2014, a somewhat quiet Christmas morning at the gym. From what I’ve observed, the number of gym-goers of today is definitely not as large as just days before.
Working out seems like an unnecessary chore to many people, especially during the holiday seasons. Although all the steps that lead up to the gym can appear to be long and hard to walk; however, we need to push ourselves to get there somehow.
Maintaining an active lifestyle is like having three meals per day. It doesn’t matter how busy life is, we don’t skip eating, because our life depends on it. By the same token, we should never skip maintaining an active, physical lifestyle, because our health depends on it.
If we have a good active lifestyle routine and do our best to stick to it, we won’t have to worry excessively about the holiday weight and participate in the pity and petty self or group discussions centered around it in the New Year.
