What You Focus On Grows

This is a truth that many people believe in wholeheartedly. As one of those believers, though I’m far from being able to live out this belief in every instant of my life; however, I have certainly witnessed it at work.

Toronto is a city, where a huge variety of languages are spoken. Even in a country like Canada, where English and French are both of the official languages, the chances of hearing others converse in French in a predominantly Anglophone metropolis like Toronto is pretty slim. That being said, I have had instances, where French-speaking strangers just happened to enter my proximity in public spaces, so close that I could hear clearly their intimate conversations.

All these encounters are unplanned. Can all these encounters be considered as synchronicity, based on the laws of attraction? The fact that I have these random interesting encounters, does it have to do with my immense focus on my French studies? I wonder!
