Being The First Isn’t Easy

When we respect our heart’s desires to chart our own life paths, we know that along the way, loneliness is a destined companion. Although we fully understand the inevitability of moments of isolation; however, I don’t think that majority of us have a full grasp on the scale of loneliness we will experience, venturing into a territory, where no one in our close circle and personal memories has ever set foot in before.

Being the first to do anything new is always challenging. We have no footstep to follow. We have no example to replicate. The emotions that we feel at moment of jubilation and in instant of depression can only be comprehended by the spirit in the distance.

Many people stay away from being the first to pave a new way for others to follow, because they opt for the practical way of living. For those of us, who have chosen to walk a life path of the unknown, we voluntarily put ourselves in a situation, where the likelihood of being misunderstood, being ridiculed, and being abandoned is tripled. We do so all in the search of inner satisfaction.

Self-motivation is tested when one is alone, working on a dream. Being deprived of familial support and amicable encouragement, only an daring adventurer, who is motivated by a true commitment can finish the journey.
