What is a good life? The answer varies, depending on the person, to whom this question is posed. To some, having stability constitutes a good life. The daily, repetitive routines give them the structure and comfort that they seek. To others, living with the unknown and excitement constitutes their definition of a good life. The unpredictability of a new day and of a future gives them the adrenaline rush to always look forward to embarking on a new adventure and to living a new experience.
Although I want a life of adventure and excitement, however, I can’t help but long for some kind of stability that will make me feel in line with what is considered to be normal and regular in this world, where most people lead a nine to five way of living.
My uncle said to me not too long ago, ” if I had a choice, I would lead of a life of adventure and excitement, because It is easy to foresee the end point of a stable, nine to five kind of life.” I agree with him. As uncertain as it feels on the inside, if I wanted to live a life that will make me feel fulfilled in my heart, a life of adventure and excitement is my destiny.
